Why Opt for Real Estate Septic System Inspection?
  1. Preventive Maintenance: Regular septic home inspections detect potential issues before they escalate, saving homeowners significant repair costs. A well-maintained septic system ensures longevity and efficiency, mitigating unexpected breakdowns that could affect your home’s value and safety.

  2. Health and Environmental Protection: A malfunctioning septic system can contaminate groundwater and local water bodies, posing health risks. Inspections guarantee systems are functioning correctly, safeguarding the environment and community health.

  3. Compliance with Regulations: Many regions mandate septic inspections to adhere to local environmental and health regulations. These inspections ensure your system meets all legal standards, averting fines and legal repercussions.

  4. Preservation of Property Value: A certified septic inspection can enhance a property’s marketability by assuring potential buyers of the system’s condition. It’s a crucial aspect of the real estate transaction process, offering peace of mind to both buyers and sellers.

  5. Cost-Efficiency: Early identification and resolution of issues through inspections can prevent costly overhauls. Regular septic tank inspection and pumping are essential for maintaining system efficiency and avoiding unforeseen expenses.

What Does a Septic Inspection Entail?
  1. Visual Inspection: Thorough examination of the tank, pipes, and drainage field for signs of damage or malfunction, including leaks, blockages, and proper water flow.

  2. Pumping and Cleaning: Septic tank pumping and inspection remove sludge and scum, ensuring efficient tank operation and allowing for a closer inspection of its interior condition.

  3. Drain Field Check: Evaluation of the drain field for signs of system overload or failure, such as standing water or unusually lush vegetation, indicating leaks or blockages.

  4. Component Evaluation: Assessment of all septic system components, including the baffle, filter, and lift station, for functionality and condition, ensuring they operate as intended.

  5. Report and Recommendations: Provision of a detailed report on the system’s condition, including identified issues and recommendations for maintenance or repairs, enabling informed decision-making.

Steps for Locating a Septic System

Initial Access

Our skilled team begins by identifying a clean out in your plumbing system. Once the entry point is located, we employ one of our two pipe cameras along with our locator to pinpoint the position of the septic tank.

Uncover

After pinpointing the septic tank, we proceed to uncover the tank lids. Subsequently, we insert a camera into the outlet pipe of the tank to track the line’s path towards the distribution box or the subsequent tank.

Documentation

Upon locating the D-Box, we meticulously mark and record the precise positions of all individual septic components for comprehensive documentation.
